Crozer-Chester Medical Center
Crozer-Chester Medical Center is a 422-bed, not-for-profit tertiary-care teaching hospital located on 68 picturesque acres. It was established in 1963 with the merger of Chester Hospital (c. 1893) and Crozer Hospital (c. 1902), and in 1990, became one of two founding hospitals in the Crozer-Keystone Health System. Today the Medical Center admits nearly 20,000 patients, treats approximately 46,000 Emergency Department patients, and delivers about 2,000 babies a year.
Time and again, Crozer earns its reputation as one of the premier hospitals in the region. Its Burn Center, Heart Institute and Trauma Center are consistently recognized for excellence.
