Chester Park

During the past few years Chester Park, which is the flag park for the entire city, has enjoyed a flourishing period of rebirth and regeneration. This park is an excellent facility for long nature walks, jogging, biking, picnics, family/class reunions, or just to commune with nature. Additionally, the location features an outdoor roller rink, regulation tennis courts and soccer fields. Future plans for Chester Park include the creation of a nature walk along the banks of the Ridley Creek and the removal of the existing dams. This year, the city will install a new swing, picnic tables and park benches, and will make improvements to the rest of the facilities, including reasonable accommodations to assist the handicapped.
