New I-95 ramps
Under this project, crews built a new 3,000-foot long ramp to southbound I-95. Crews also repaired the bridge deck on the Edgmont Avenue Bridge over I-95, widened Edgmont Avenue to add a left turn lane at the ramp intersection, and upgraded traffic signals at the intersection of Edgmont Avenue and Route 320. Neshaminy Constructors, Inc., of Feasterville, Pa., was the general contractor on the $4,638,154 project that was funded with 80 percent federal and 20 percent state monies. Construction began in November 2003.
