The Toxic Fire of 1978 Memorial Committee Fundraiser
On May 8, 2010 at Bootleggers in Woodlyn, The Toxic Fire of 1978 Memorial Committee, in cooperation with Delaware County Fallen Fire Fighters and EMS Memorial Committee will host a fundraiser for a memorial to be located near PPL Park in Chester, PA (home to Philadelphia Union).

The City of Chester has committed land to the memorial and $10,000 in direct financial support to the project. The memorial will honor the first responders who fought the Wade Dump fire so bravely. As well, the memorial will stand as testament to all responders -- police, fire and EMS, as well as the citizens of Chester.

The Memorial Committee will do a one-time reprint of "Beyond the Flames", the amazing account of the events before, during and after the fire.

Please see details on the event below.
